The interlocking structure monopolizes on merino’s natural elasticity, allowing it to move with you while skinning up the north side of the mountain or reaching for that final arête. Merino Ponti is our fabric of choice for the Shak collection, named for the iconic Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton. It’s ready for any and every expedition you find yourself on.

High performance but also looks put together

"I come to the reviews for the fit deets so I’m giving them to you first. I’m almost 5’8”, 140ish lbs, 34B with a 29” waist and 39” hips, I am happy with the size small as I like the trim fit. The sleeves are nicely proportioned and the thumb holes are sewn shut, which is a plus for me but would take only a few seconds to open for someone who wanted to use them.   The merino is a dense wool knit that feels substantial but still moves with you. It has that structured, almost “tailored” look while still functioning like a performance layer. It’s warm without being bulky, and it’s my travel bestie. It’s super versatile. I wear as a midlayer under my rain trench, wear it as a cover up for chilly pool runs on ski trips, obviously I wear it on the sidelines watching my favorite player.  ðŸ˜… I like this jacket so much that I own a dusty amethyst to rep my son’s school colors and black for everything else. The clean lines give it a polished feel, and the zip pockets are actually functional without adding bulk. Overall, this is one of those pieces that bridges the gap between technical and refined."

"Believe the reviews. This jacket is like surrounding yourself in your favorite blanket. The feel is unbeatable: great quality, has some weight to it, 100% merino. And yes. . . it looks great on! I got two of these and hope Ibex will continue to make them in other colors. I would say this fits on the slimmer side, hugging very slightly but not at all too tight. Quite flattering! Great with tights and boots. I am long in the torso and I love that it covers my a$$. Can't say a bad thing about it."

Expensive but worth it

"This jacket is beautiful! Quality is A+. I'm on the tall, slender to medium build side, and the Large fits nicely. Trim look, but with room to layer underneath. The blackberry color is warm-toned enough to work happily with my autumn-y wardrobe. Dress up or down easily."

"Beautiful color, cozy jacket, good zipper. This has already been lovely to wear. I wasn't thrilled about having to undo the seam for the thumb holes myself but at the sleeve length it made sense to have them. Hood is nice. I went a size larger than I normally would based on other reviews and am glad I did."

Extra cozy, super flattering

"This jacket is so comfy I never want to take it off. I know I will be wearing it all winter. I just hope it holds up as I am not exactly easy on clothes. If I had one complaint it's that it attracts pet hair, but the cozy factor is worth it. Great design on the thumb holes too. I used a seam ripper to release them. Wish you'd make this in grey, blue, or green - I would buy another one!"

"LOVE IT !!!!! I love the rich Blackberry Melange color! Very comfortable to wear under my coat or anywhere else. I'll be wearing it a lot! I can wear a fitted sweater underneath. I weigh 124 lbs and am a 34D bust. It's not tight even with a T-shirt underneath. For a more fitted, form-fitting look, I can go for a Small. M is perfect for layering underneath or for being comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful long sweater. I hope they keep this style because I think I like it enough to buy another one eventually. I love it!!!!"
