Sizing is weird, but loved for performance!!

"I went up a size after reading other reviews, and I am glad that I did. They definitely run snug on the waistband, but fit well in a size up! They are quite high-waisted even with my longer torso. I brought two pair with me to try out on a recent 2-night backpacking trip and they were wonderful! The high rise didn't bother me on the trail and I think actually helped them stay put a little better. The breathability is awesome. As someone who gets quite sweaty in that area, I never felt "soggy" or uncomfortable...and we had a 90 degree day while out on the trail! Only thing that would make them better is if they made them true to size and loosened the top band a bit."
