We wrap ultra-thin merino fibers around a nylon filament to make this 150gsm fabric both lightweight and durable. This is our one-quiver, do-everything textile. Corespinning keeps merino as the only fiber next to skin, allowing nylon to increase the longevity of this all-season fabric without impacting its breathability or odor resistance. Some of my tees have worn out. So, I thought let’s give the new ibex a shot. I was impressed with the hand feel of the fabric, and the stitching right away. Pretty good, I thought. It wears true to size and fits well throughout the shoulders. I haven’t washed them yet. We’ll see how the 100% wool fares after water and a spin cycle. Nice job from an ol’ guard wool snob! 👍"
