So comfortable!

"This shirt is the perfect weight to wear in hot or cold weather. I wore it for a week in the Peruvian Andes and then in the rainforest. With the humidity in the rainforest the shirt increased in size. Washed at home and a short low temp tumble in the dryer and it’s returned to its original size. I generally wear a medium, but bought a large for a loose fit for hot days."

Almost Perfect

"Bought this hoodie to wear on the Camino and I wore it almost every day to keep the sun off and the cooler nights when walking around town. I just wish it had a kangaroo pocket. Then it would be perfect."

— Nancy M. (4/5)

My new Ibex for Grand Canyon!

"Love it! Thin layer is perfect over a tank or tshirt for east coast weather. I also took it to the Grand Canyon as my sunblocker and again the weight of it was perfect for someone who sweats a ton."

Fabulous Shirt

"I hate to be hot when I’m hiking - especially in hot weather, but a backpacking trip in the Eastern Sierras required one versatile shirt. I also hate hoods. This, however, was one awesome shirt. I never overheated, even in 80 degree weather and I loved the hood for cool mornings and windy evenings. And then it rained…even though the shirt got wet, true to wool, it was still warm and dried out pretty quickly while hiking. I’m getting these shirts for my sun-averse husband and other backpacking family members. So much more comfortable than synthetic versions."

Fantastic buy!

"This hoodie is so worth it; keeps you cool in the sun and toasty on a cooler evening. Great color and breathable, love it!"

— Jacqueline C. (5/5)

Love this!

"I've been wearing this hoodie almost every day for two weeks straight, hiking and camping. It is comfortable, lightweight, and for me a medium is just the right amount of loose. Please, more colors!!! Like teal, plum, magenta/purple!! I would definitely buy another one if you had more color options."

— Heather (5/5)

Perfectt for most days

"I really like this lightweight hoodie. I can weae it in almist any westher. I got a large because i dont like tight clothes (i wear a size 10) and it hangs beautufully. I think it will be perfecr on a plane flight."

— Gail R. (5/5)

Love, love, love the Ibex Springbok

"I’ve been on a quest for the perfect hoodie for camping and canoeing, and this is by far my favourite. The fabric is buttery soft, so soft I really look forward to putting it on. It performs well as a layer to keep you warm, but also as a protective layer when out in the sun. The design is spot on, from the finger holes to the shape of the hood, great full coverage while I’m canoeing in the backcountry. I purchased the XL as I don’t like form fitting gear, it’s not oversized, and the cut is very flattering. The quality is absolutely there too. It’s not an ultralight hoodie but definitely top in class for a medium to lightweight layer. Loved it so much I bought a second."

— Stephanie A. (5/5)

In love

"Absolutely obsessed with this sun hoodie. Perfect layer for a afternoon spring hike too!"

— Carmel M. (5/5)

"Fits true to size. Love the way the thumbholes are made— less tightness around the thumb."
