"Not sure when I bought this hoodie - the color is purple so that should be a clue. I have worn this hoodie all over the US, typically all winter long. I Last year, it was a perfect layering piece for two weeks of early spring Irish weather, complete with wind, sleet and snow. Just recently, it was my constant companion for two weeks crossing the Pacific on a slow boat departing Alaska, plus two more weeks of fall weather in Japan. It wears, packs and washes like a dream. Initially I was concerned about the price, but this hoodie has been well worth it. Last comment, it is a bit fitted, so I sized up for a slightly looser fit."

"The Shak hoodoo hoodie is a wonderful cozy midweight sweater! Great for both winter and early spring (maybe fall too but I haven't had it long enough to say that). I ordered a S and it fits perfectly for 34" bust and 28" waist. I'm 5'4 and it's long enough to reach to my hips and provide some warmth there too. I have the berry colour which is kind of a maroon-plum purple. Shipping was quick and the item arrived sooner than predicted."

"I opened this hoodie on 3 separate computers to try and get a correct visual of the color. What is Blackberry Melange? I was assessing a purple or maybe a pink/purple. But, when it arrived it was far more black with a hint of purple. I returned this hoodie, I did not care for the color. Many many years ago I purchased a Magenta jacket and a vest from Ibex, my absolute favorite items. I was actually hoping this hoodie would be a magenta color."

"I am 5'9"/145#/34B with a long torso and arms for my height; I normally wear a M and purchased the Blackberry melange/M. The body length hits me at low hip and I have plenty of sleeve length and can comfortably use the thumb holes - YAY! Color is gorgeous too. I also ordered the Mammoth Hoodie in Moonrock, first in a M (sleeves too short) and then in a L (still too short) so the cut varies from item to item."
