"I had purchased this same piece when I worked as a Founding Store employee at the Alpharetta REI 2015 using my employee benefits, used and wore it until last year when I donated it to my daughter’s BF attending U of Alabama. I wore a Large then, and now wear a Medium, so I decided to buy this again after a Fall/Winter without one as it was my favorite piece of apparel all these years…. "It's a big pet peeve of mine when upper clothing won't fully fit under (or fully layer over) a bottom layer. I don't want any air gap. This product is perfect in that regard. I was looking for something a bit thicker, but this is a decent compromise for my need."

"I love the material and followed the size chart which should have fit. I’m 5’9” 175lbs with 42” chest. Bought the large and figured it would shrink a little after washing like most merino products. It didn’t and is definitely too baggy. Will be gifting it to someone larger. Ordered a medium so hopefully it fits like a glove."

"The Shak 1/4 zip is great ! It really regulates temperature. The only issue I have is that it's made for tall people. I have broad shoulders so I need an XL but I'm 5'7" so Ibex tops are always longer than I want them to be."
