Reviews

A solid baselayer

"A+ in the moisture-wicking, thermal regulation, odor control categories. I was working as a ski patroller and this layer knocked it out of the park when compared to all my synthetic layers I'd been wearing when it came to all three of these categories. It is so warm and cozy but also somehow cooling when working up a sweat. Wool is magic. I lived in a dry cabin so laundry was few and far-between when compared to your average user - I could wear this layer all week without grossing myself or others out haha. C in the durability category - I've had the layer for over a year and I would say around the 6 mo mark it started showing some serious signs of wear. Small fibers (what I think might be elastain fibers) poke through in patches all over the fabric and the fabric itself has noticeably thinner and thicker spots. It is also not quite as soft as it was when new but not to the point that it makes me think twice about wearing it. All that being said, I wore this layer A TON within that 6 mo period and continue to wear it and recommend it freely. Wool >> synthetic!"

Women’s Woolies 250 crew/oceanic

"Liked the color but sleeves too long. Very large for a medium."

Margery H. (4/5)

Such gorgeous merino attire

"I ordered several items, tops, hoodies, bottoms, from Ibex and all of them are exquisitely made, comfy and lovely colors."

"Super comfortable - never smells. Great quality."

Good warm wardrobe addition

"Love the weight of this shirt for layering, and it looks good on its own as well. Sleeves are long enough for my long arms."

Carol H. (5/5)

Warm and Wonderful

"I always loved the original IBEX and my woolies baseline 1 are the best but started to tear. I bought this long sleeve crew as a replacement and although it feels different from the original woolies it it still a good design and well made. I am satisfied with the purchse"

Caren A. (5/5)

my favorite purchase this season

"I sized up from M to L (36 bust 30 waist) so it wouldn't be skin tight as I have found some new Ibex to run small. Love the color Poison Ivy and would have bought other colors, but they sold out quickly. Fabric is not the same as old Ibex woolies, but it feels good, fits good, looks good (and not just as a base layer)."

A “must have” in my wardrobe

"I live on the coast in Washington State and this item is an essential layer in my wardrobe. Since I’m going on a cruise to Alaska I treated myself to a new Woolie which I have no doubt that I will wear most days."

Marlene N. (5/5)

Love this!

"The shirt is very cozy and fits very nicely. Kept me warm most of the winter in Michigan. It’s starting to get a little bit too warm in the spring weather but good for chilly days! Love the thumb holes!"

Julie J. (5/5)

Great shirt

"I bought the teal shirt to accompany the Ibex jacket. It’s a great combo! This is my go to clothes as I transition into retirement."
