Meet Graphic Artist, Angler, and father of two.. Daniel Sheridan.

At Ibex, we believe in the power of craftsmanship, storytelling, and heritage. That's why we're thrilled to introduce you to Daniel Sheridan—the creative force behind some of our most exciting designs this season. Daniel is the founder and Creative Director of Sheridan Studio, a one-man design house specializing in brand identity, illustration, and lettering. Since 2016, he has been helping brands grow with uniquely handcrafted designs that stand the test of time. 

Daniel calls Connecticut home, where he lives with his wife and two kids. When Daniel is not in the studio you can find him on the Farmington River, fly fishing for Native Brook Trout. His work draws deeply from Americana and heritage aesthetics—a natural fit for Ibex's roots and ethos. His designs capture the essence of adventure, grit, and the timeless appeal of the outdoors, blending artistry with the spirit of exploration.

The Greatwool Dead

Goat Rodeo

Two standout pieces from Daniel's recent work for Ibex are the Goat Rodeo and Gratewool Dead graphics. Each piece reflects a part of Ibex's story and the values that shape our brand.

Gratewool Dead pays homage to our heritage, originating from our beginnings in Woodstock, Vermont, in 1997. This design celebrates the enduring craftsmanship and natural performance that have defined Ibex from the start.

The name is a playful nod to our connection to nature, music, and the countercultural roots that have always inspired us; with a little homage from our musical friends, the Gratewool Dead ;)

Goat Rodeo draws from our love of Americana art and outdoor performance. This design is full of hidden details that speak to our adventurous spirit.

Look closely and you'll find the cowboy is wearing ski boots, glacier goggles, and a climbing harness while riding an ibex. It's a playful, bold reflection of the intersection between outdoor performance and the wild, untamed side of Ibex.

We couldn’t be more excited to share Daniel's work with the Ibex Herd. His designs remind us that the best gear doesn't just perform—it tells a story. And with each stitch and print, we're carrying forward a legacy of craftsmanship that echoes the past while embracing the future.
