"These pants are the best. Perfect for travel. The discrete zipper pockets are perfect to fit a passport and phone. So comfy and warm. I wear them camping, rafting, hiking and out to fancy dinners. I can wear the small or the medium. Just a different fit. I am 5’6” and 140lbs. They are expensive, but they well worth it for the use I have gotten. I reach for them every time."
"I ordered two pairs of these pants, black and charcoal, as business casual wear for work. I wanted something that would be really comfortable but also polished. They are form-fitting, but also structured. The tight wool knit is solid construction, and the pants have a good amount of stretch but also feel substantial, making them much more elevated than athleisure wear. I am glad that one of the other reviewers mentioned that the charcoal color has blue undertones, because that is perfect for what I needed. They are a really classy muted navy. I would love it if there were a straight-leg trouser version that was a little less figure-hugging, but with a similar pull-on waistband. I would buy it in a heartbeat!"
"I absolutely love these pants. The fit is fab and while they may have been intended for hiking, they’re so much more than that. Super comfy for travel days. Nice enough lines that you can throw a nice sweater on and head to dinner and they look great. One comment on the charcoal color - it’s got bluish undertones and I feel like it’s a little less versatile than I expected. I’m always buying black and wanted a gray neutral instead for a change, but I think I’m going to end up with a black pair too because this particular gray isn’t going to work with everything that I expected it to. All that said, I wholeheartedly recommend these pants. Worth every penny."
"I have recommended these pants to so many people. They are the perfect 3 season pant. Love the deep pockets and the wide waistband especially. If you’re in between sizes I would size up. There’s a good amount of compression without being restrictive and they look great and hold their shape all day and through multiple wearings."

"Love these pants but taken by surprise when the waist was suddenly 1 inch bigger after being in some rain with a Patagonia raincoat on. They are back to the size of my second pair after washing. I think a drawstring in the waist would have fixed this problem."
"I was looking for pants to wear to Ireland where the weather is variable. These pants were lightweight to pack and was very comfortable when the weather was cool and then turned warm. I sensitive about fabric feel and was worried about them being too itchy - wool and all. After wearing them, I was a convert. They are not super soft to the touch, but once you put them on, they feel comfy. The zip pockets made them great for travel as well. Also I wore them several times without needing to launder them. Recommend!"

"These are my first merino pants I have splurged on and let me tell you I have worn them constantly. To work, to dinner , movies, they are great for dressing up or down for whatever you want to wear them for. You don't sweat getting into a hot car like with synthetics and these are so comfortable. I am hoping to try other colors and turn my wardrobe into fully sustainable pieces versus any fast fashion subpar pieces that do not last like these timeless pieces do."
