"The insulation characteristics and density of the fabric are superb. I selected true to size on the fit because sleeves and chest are great for my 5’10” frame, average build and weight. However the jacket is quite long, ideally fitted to a much taller person. The large might be ideal for someone of lean build who is 6’2”. If the length fit me better, I would call this jacket perfect."

"I had to wait 34 days to receive a refund for a return and chase them multiple times to receive the credit. When I did get the refund, their receiving department failed to credit me for one of the items. I provided evidence to customer service that the item was included in the return (including the receipt with the package weight matching the original) and then never heard back after multiple queries. Order at your own risk."

"I'm 5'10", 165 lbs. The medium is the perfect fitting midlayer for hiking, skiing, trekking. I'm now on my second Shak jacket. The first one I had for nearly 20 years and wore it until it was, literally, just threads. It traveled with me to 4 continents, innumerable mountain tops, and even a few unplanned biffs in mountain streams."

"Love the shack jacket! ITT fits well and looks great. I bought it to replace one that I’ve been wearing for 20 years. I had to wait 10 months for it to be back in stock. When I received notification it was back in stock I ordered it immediately. In small print it gave a ship by date. That day passed but there was no confirmation on the website other than in working on it. Customer service took several days to respond but didn’t give any more info. On Black Friday it went on sale for 20% off. I contacted them again and asked for the discount and info on when to expect it. I never received a response but it did finally ship."
