Durable.
"I bought these over a year ago, and will try to upload pictures from today! Disclaimer, I bought these in charcoal color and dyed them with brown Rit Dye. I wear a lot of wool, but I usually go with standard yoga-centric brands for leggings and bike shorts. These are pretty different! Compared to yoga leggings and other brands' merino base layers, these are tough and durable, and I feel good about wearing them to work with a pack of muddy dogs. The stitching on the seams is super sturdy, but it's also kinda lumpy. Instead of camel-toe, I have an odd mountain range in the silhouette of my crotch, which is shockingly not at all uncomfortable, but does look odd when viewed at the right angle. Aside from the dye, I wash them cold and hang them to dry, but I do wonder if the warm dye bath altered the stitching. I didn't wear these for an entire season just because I went with loose shorts more often, but I really adore these for spring and fall - I wear as a base layer under pants in thr chilly mornings, then ditch the pants for warm afternoons. They stay put pretty well, but they roll up my thighs somewhat - everything does, even though I'm not very meaty at 5'2" and 105#, I sometimes roll the hem up to get ahead of them climbing up on me. I like them for comfort and utility over aesthetics, because although I like the look in general, the lumpy crotch thing is hard to want to show off. I am intentionally choosing photos that don't show that off though, because that's just not how I want to show up on the internet, you know?"
