"I was expecting a slightly heavier/better constructed shirt for the price."

"I bought these for my partner to replace his polyester base layers, he's very active and pretty rough on clothes. I was a bit worried about the durability due to the thinness of the fabric. However they have held up for six months now. They keep you very warm, while not overwhelmingly so & they are so easy to layer with since the material is not thick or bunchy! I bought him a size M top, he's 5'7" with a 27" inseam and a 6'4" wingspan, thankfully the arms were plenty long enough on the M! He has been handwashing them and drying them flat. . . no holes or any damage to the fabric so far which is amazing!!!!"

"This is definitely a light layer - and that was what I was looking for, but this is so thin that I'm afraid I'm going to rip it if I pull too hard. Also itchier and less merino that previous Ibex versions. I know people complain about the quality going downhill, but I've been really willing to give the brand a lot of chances. Not impressed with this one though."

"I used to buy this brand years ago before they changed ownership. It was always 100% merino wool which is what made them so great. The wool is what kept you warm. Just bought the performance shirt to discover they added nylon. Sorry but I think that’s the wrong move. Go back to the way it was. I still wear my old ibex running and they are still good in freezing temps. Nylon just gets wet and cold. Won’t be buying these again."

"The Woolies Pro Tech is thin, soft, with flat serged seams and a thumbhole cuffs. It works great as an under layer. The only thing that surprised me and turned me off was a white, shiny, painted on logo on the left forearm area. It is cheap looking branding in a prominent place that I found extremely annoying. I immediately got out permanent markers to make it less visible—I thought Ibex was self-confident enough to avoid tacky logos."

"I've been eyeballing Ibex for some time and finally pulled the tripper on the Pre Tech Crew. Absolutely love this shirt. Have hiked in it three times already and can't get over how efficient it is. Totally as advertised. Now trying to decide what to order next."

"I bought two of these for my adult sons because the ones I bought nearly 10 years ago are threadbare. They wear them ALL THE TIME, alone or as an under layer. I have 3 of these, perfect layer for cold weather activities- skiing, cycling- or as a top on its own as the weather warms. I wear mine all year and always pack one when I travel for hiking or biking."
— Margarett J. (5/5)
"Just purchased my third one. My first was the one I fell in love with. Each shirt has been different but I still love it. The stripes and timeless, the material and design are comfortable and the temp control is fabulous."

"This merino longsleeve feels like a soft hug. I've never owned merino base layers of this quality, I was blown away when I put it on the first time. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a big upgrade in their warm under layers."
— James M. (5/5)
"Really loving this base layer. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks, but durability seems good so far. So soft and lightweight but surprisingly warm especially under a fleece. Ibex for the win!"
