at first i was relcutant because of the price, but have found it worthy of every penny. lovely bra, so comfortable. has become my all time favorite. i bought two and have worn them everyday now for the past 6 months. where else are you going to find a wool bra, and one so elegant with an old-world european vibe. bring back the ivory color! unlike other ibex balance bras, no need to size up with this style.

The band seems way too big. I would love it more with an underwire as it tends to slide up from the bottom. I am a 34C/36B and a medium is too big. I am going to do some customizing on the band with my sewing machine and try to make it work. It is comfortable even in hot weather, pretty color, straps are good.

I wear this for basic floor exercises - stretches - hand weights, etc, as well as walks. It's very comfortable and feels much nicer than synthetic materials. It's also warm for those cool days outside. I'm sure I'll love it on summer hikes too!

Finally a sports bra that I can sweat in and NOT freeze as soon as I stop moving. As a backcountry skier I need a bra/ base layer that wicks and keeps me warm when it gets wet, the Balance Support bra does just that. I'm stoked. Pricey but worth it.

Does run a little big so buy a size down (ie 32C buy a small). I wouldn't use it for running (allows too much bounce) but backcountry skiing, skate skiing & biking definately.

While it's definitely more supportive than the original Balance bra because of the adjustable straps, I still would never do super high-impact sports in this bra. The picture is a little misleading because the bra really comes with straight straps that you can unhook and criss-cross for a snugger fit. But if you've ever had one of those "convertible" bras, you know how hard it is is get in and out of with the straps crossed. Size wise, I got a small and I typically wear a 34B and I still feel like it could be smaller. It stretches a little after a couple of uses. But it does what I wanted it to - keeps my chest warm in cold weather activities instead of holding my clammy sweat next to my skin like the rest of the sports bras out there.

I bought this bra in 2 colors because I needed extra warmth. I had bilateral mastectomies with implant reconstruction, and my chest is always cold. These bras are soft, light, and keep me warm. The band is a bit big for me (I'm a 38 B to C, and I ordered size L), and the straps are too long unless they are crossed in back, but it's comfy and WARM!

I was worried about spending so much on a bra (a WOOL bra no less--what if I didn't like it?). But now it's the only bra I want to wear. Wore it in a half marathon last weekend and was cool and dry the whole time. My only quibble is the size small feels a bit large on me, but maybe my problem is with my girls, who measure in at a 34B on a very good day. Ah, breast feeding has not been kind to them. But this bra is.

used as base layer for biking or underwire substitute. i'm really an extra large, full figured gal and yet i felt supported. i wouldn't go running in it but its comfortable for more passive activities.
