This well rounded, stylish performer gets good marks for a nice light and tight fit, super warm fabric for the weight and great ventilating pockets. The only downside is it looks good enough I feel bad getting it sweaty and dirty!

USE IS MOSTLY CASUAL 3 SEASON BUT I BUY IBEX FOR IT'S STRENGTHS AS BACK COUNTRY/WILDERNESS HUNTING CLOTHING. I LIKE IT'S ADAPTABILITY (LAYERING, WIND-PROOFNESS,DURABILITY)AND COMFORTABLE FIT FOR A GUY MY SIZE (XL,6'-2", 225#). THIS JACKET, IN PARTICULAR, WORKS WONDERFULLY AS A SHOOTING JACKET. WIND-PROOF, SLENDER STRETCH FIT, LONGER THAN AVERAGE SLEEVE LENGTH. ONLY CON: WAS EXPECTING A LITTLE HEAVIER WEAVE FOR THE PRICE. THIS JACKET IS VERY SIMILAR TO A PREVIOUS MODEL (SORRY CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME) OF IBEX JACKET THAT I HAVE. DIFFERENCE BEING THE SIXES JACKET IS MORE WIND-PROOF. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU FIND A WAY TO EXPAND MARKETING FOR YOUR GEAR TO THE HIGHER END HUNTING/FISHING COMMUNITY.

I was looking at this coat as a go to jacket that would replace my old, old Patagonia shelled synchilla jacket. hoping for the same warmth with a bit more breathability and water repellency. I think the jacket would have delivered this but the fit was way to small for me. I'm not small but this was the smallest XL I have ever tried on. It was painful to return it but I could drop 30 pounds and it would still be too tight. No, I'm not obese, just a typical XL 52 year old. I would recommend this jacket in a heartbeat, provided it fit.

Got it in the mail and was night sking 45 min. later. Works great to just wear around town. Throw on a base layer (zypherII or Shak zip) and it is good protection for colder weather where you might be working a bit. Throw on a lightweight gore-tex shell for snow. It is a great piece to layer around.

I am an active outdoorsman. I love to fly fish, backpack, snow ski to name a few. As soon as I put this warm stylish jacket on I couldn't take it off. I'm sure it's great for various activities but for now (Fall & Winter in Oregon) its worn every day.
