I definitely loved the look of these from the picture and found that once I had them, the fit was not right for me. The waist seems high and they are made for someone with a skinny waist and hips, not a more square athletic build. The legs are also wide and not really that flattering. I do love the fabric though and it is super soft. I bought the OC canvas pant at the same time and they have a much better fit with a lower waist and more stretch.

Not a good fit, sending it back. Too poofy at the bottom, unflattering unless you are lanky and slender; fabric quite heavy, making it a really poor choice for warm weather

I don't often buy new clothes, so I'm thrilled these are so great (and durable-seeming)! They fit really well, with a mid-rise and wide leg that are really comfy. (I usually wear clothes that are on the large side, so I did have to exchange the first ones I got for a smaller size.) I love the double-button waistband, it eliminates pressure from large lunches or bending. The pants do flare when the outer button on the leg is used, as other reviewers have said, but I like that -- I'm about 5'10'' and fairly thin, and the slight flare at the knee is flattering. The only reasons they don't get 5 ibexes are the dearth of pockets (just fine for everyday wear, but I'd love a leg pocket) and the fact that, being all heavyish cotton, they don't dry fast.

i love the wide legs on these, and how they sit low on the waist - they are super comfortable. i wish that there were two pockets (one on both side) of the back, and i'm not wild about the snaps at the cuffs - which to me seem useless and don't add much in terms of style, but overall these are very cute pants and i enjoy wearing them. the cotton is quite heavy, so i don't think they'll work when temps get much over seventy degrees.
